Too Cute Layout

Well today I finished another 2-page layout for Lily's baby book, so I thought I would share it with you. I'm a little behind this week on my goal of completing 3-5 layouts, but we'll see what the rest of the week brings. Tomorrow is supposed to be 100 degrees, so the kids and I probably won't be outside too much. So maybe I can get another layout done tomorrow.

Supply List: Patterned Paper, Element Stickers: Basic Grey (Sweet Threads Collection); Border Punch: Fiskars; Foam Glitter Letters: American Crafts (pink), Creative Imaginations (blue); Pearls: Kaiser (purple), Mark Richards (pink); Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, EK Success (Pop Dots); Sketch: Two Page Sketch #12 by Allison Davis for Sketch Support

I used the Element Stickers that came with the collection pack for the embellishments. I layered the stickers and used pop dots in both 1/8" and 1/16" thicknesses to give the stickers a little more dimension.

Thanks for looking. Stay cool tomorrow!

Same but different

Over the last few days I made four layouts based on the one sketch. I'm so far behind in the kids baby albums that I decided to use the same sketch for several layouts. Right now I have one album per year, per child, so the same layout won't end up being in the same album. Here's what I came up with...

The first layout is of Braiden when he was 4 months old. I have always loved these pictures of him. He's such a big boy drinking out of Daddy's water glass.

Supply List: Patterned Paper, Letter Stickers: Basic Grey; Chipboard Letters: American Crafts; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Sketch: Die Cutting Machine: Cricut by Provo Craft; One Page Sketch #9 by Allison Davis for Sketch Support

The next layout is of Lily when she was almost 2 months old. She's playing under her dragonfly baby gym, I remember how much she loved playing with it.

Supply List: Patterned Paper: Basic Grey, Chipboard Letters: American Crafts; Flowers: Prima; Pearls: Mark Richards, Kaiser; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Sketch: One-Page Sketch #9 by Allison Davis for Sketch Support

The next two layouts are from our visit with my Grandma. One for Braiden's book and one for Lily's. I just love these pictures of the kids with her. I'm so glad the kids were willing to do it.

Supply List: Patterned Paper, Chipboard Letters (orange), Letter Stickers (yellow), Element Stickers: Basic Grey; Foam Glitter Letters: Creative Imaginations; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, EK Success; Sketch: One-Page Sketch #9 by Allison Davis for Sketch Support

Supply List: Patterned Paper: Basic Grey; Pearls: Mark Richards; Butterfly Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts: Border Punch: Fiskars; Foam Letters: American Crafts (blue & dark pink) and Creative Imaginations (light pink); Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, EK Success; Sketch: One-Page Sketch #9 by Allison Davis for Sketch Support

And so there you have it, four different layouts based on the same sketch. I made a goal for myself to complete 3-5 layouts a week. So far so good for this week, but we'll see how next few weeks go. Thanks for looking!

Sweet Dreams Layout

I have another layout to share with you today. The pictures are of Lily when she was just one month old. What a little sweetheart. Remember how I said I was really into banners on layouts? I cut 3/4" x 2" strips of paper and cut the triangular shape off the bottom, folded the top edge around the thread and glue dotted it to make the banner.

Supply List: Patterned Paper, Letter Stickers (yellow): Basic Grey; Foam Glitter Letters: American Crafts, Thread: We R Memory Keepers; Butterfly Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts, Corner Punch: EK Success; Pearls: Kaiser Crafts; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Sketch: One Page Sketch #7 by Allison Davis for Sketch Support

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Father's Day

Good Morning! I wanted to wish a Happy Father's Day to everyone! Ryan got up this morning and went to the Back to the 50's Car Show at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds with his Dad. Braiden stayed over night at my parents house last night, so he's going to the Car Show and Swap Meet with my Dad this morning, then he'll meet up with Ryan there. Braiden loves old cars and is in heaven seeing so many all in one place.

Here's a card I made last night. I really have a hard time making men's cards for some reason. So this is what I ended up making...

Supply List: Patterned Paper & Element Stickers: Basic Grey; Chipboard Letters: American Crafts; Letter Stickers: Cosmo Cricket; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, 3D Dots by EK Success; Sketch: Card Sketch #7 by Allison Davis for Sketch Support

 Happy Father's Day!!!

Adore You Layout

Hello, I wanted to share this layout I made this afternoon while the kids were playing outside. (Sorry for the crooked picture, I'm not sure what happened there.) I used some left-over patterned paper and embellishments I've had sitting around here for a few months. I love this paper collection so much, it's called Fine and Dandy by My Mind's Eye. It works really well for boy pages. Braiden was about 2 1/2 years old in the pictures. What a cutie pie. He's always been such a little ham when the camera comes out.

Supply List: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper, Chipboard Shapes and Gems: My Mind's Eye;Chipboard Letters: Basic Grey; Border Punch: Fiskars; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Sketch: Anam Stubbington for My Mind's Eye

I love the banner chipboard stickers, I've been really into the banners lately. I even bought a banner paper punch, and I'm so excited to use it. I'm sure you're wondering why all of the layouts lately are from when the kids are so little, but I'm trying to get caught up little by little.

Any how, thanks for taking a look!

Splash Park

We just returned from the Splash Park. It was my first time taking the kids there. We met Braiden's friend Mitchell, his Mom Mary and his brother Mason there. The boys really loved being in the water, they were in the water constantly from the moment we got there until it was time to go home. Lily on the other hand wasn't real fond of it at first, but really started to enjoy it. She doesn't like getting water on her face, so she was a little hesitant to go under the spraying fountains. But toward the end of the day she started going under the fountains, her hair was even wet when we left.

I think we'll have to take another trip to the Splash Park this summer.

Birthday Cards

Here are a few birthday cards I made recently using Card Sketch #8 by Allison Davis at Sketch Support. I may try making a one or two page layout based off the card sketch, if I do I'll post that also.

Supply List: (for all cards) Patterned Paper: Basic Grey; Cardstock: Bazzill;
Pearls: Kaiser Crafts; Buttons: Archivers; Flowers: Prima; Rub-ons: Pebbles Inc.;Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Glue Dots International

I made the pink card for my niece Sadie, she turns 6 years old today. I first made the tan card, then I thought it might be cute to make her a pink card instead. Her birthday party theme is butterflies, so I thought it would be perfect for her.

Happy Birthday Sadie! I hope you have a great birthday. See you tomorrow at your party.
