Sketch Support Creative Team Call

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to share a few projects I have been working on for the Sketch Support/Scrapbook Generation Publishing Creative Team Call. A few weeks ago they announced they were looking for a few more designers to join their creative team. Each week they post a new sketch along with projects from the creative team. The sketches include one-page sketches, two-page sketches, card sketches and add-on sketches. You can check out the website and all of their sketches by clicking here. I was lucky enough to be chosen as the February Guest Designer on their website, and I'm hoping that I'll make the creative team. Here are the projects I created for the creative team call...

The first layout is from Lily's Birthday Party last weekend. I used Two-Page Sketch #10 for this layout. I used a punch to cut out the cupcakes, then used pop dots to give them dimension. And added the gems to resemble sprinkles on the top.

This layout is from St. Patrick's Day. I used One-Page Sketch #2 for this layout. I purchased the green wigs from a party supply store. As the journaling states, Lily was really excited about wearing her wig, Braiden was not quit as excited as Lily was (but he wore it anyway). I hand cut the shamrocks and added stitching around them, and I also pop dotted those.

I made this banner several weeks back in preparation for Lily's Birthday Party. I think it was a nice addition to her candy shoppe. I used Add-On Sketch #3 for this project.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my projects.

  1. Very nice. I really like the banner for "Lily's sweet shoppe" ... the layering of the colours and sizes of buttons is wonderful. Need to keep this idea in my design notebook for sure!

    Thanks for the inspiration.
